Timberlake Earth Sanctuary is a 165-acre nature sanctuary in North Carolina’s Piedmont region, located in Whitsett near Greensboro and Burlington. Founded in 1967. Timberlake is rooted in sustainability, community, and the healing of the human-earth-divine relationship. We are blessed to be celebrating our union surrounded by forests, trails, ponds, gardens, and the peacefulness of nature. We ask that all guests show respect to the earth around us by disposing of all trash properly and leaving the site the way we come upon it.

What to Wear

Looking for outfit inspo? You've found the right place! While our wedding is taking place on Halloween (and we do love a good costume) we've chosen to stick to a more traditional wedding attire and vibe. This will be a semi-formal event. We would love for our guests to find inspiration in the colors of nature in the fall &lt;3 Below you will find suggested fall colors and fashion inspo that we think will fit the day. If you have any questions or would like to talk clothes the bride and groom are always happy to discuss!

Fashion Inspiration

We would like to remind guests that this wedding is a safe space for all identities and gender expressions. All guest should wear the garment types that make them feel the happiest and most themselves. Also keep in mind that the wedding and reception will take place outdoors. Make sure to bring a coat or warm covering incase the weather decides to be brisk. The reception will have outdoor heaters and a bonfire to help keep us toasty as the night blankets our party. Comfortable shoes are suggested since paths may not be even and sticks are natures booby trap.
